Maison Lâle is an immersive concert that premiered in June 2026 at the Süreya Opera House Istanbul as part of the 54th Istanbul Music festival. Drawing on references that span from Anatolia’s ancient seasonal rites of death and rebirth to the tulip mania that swept 17th-century Europe, the piece searches for a fleeting new home for a beauty once bound to impermanence, perhaps in the city’s most unsettling nocturnal corners.
